Eden Energy Provides Operational Update

VANCOUVER, October 4, 2007 -- Eden Energy Corp. (OTCBB: EDNE) reports that on the advice of its joint venture partner, who is acting as operator, the spudding of the Noah Federal No. 1 well will be moved to Spring 2008. The operator advises that construction of the lease access road and drill site have been essentially completed.

Donald Sharpe, president of Eden Energy, commented “The operator presented us with compelling reasons for moving the spud date of this well to the Spring. While the lease site and access road are now complete, the rugged terrain and remote location of this well means that rig mobilization and access to safety equipment in and out of the drill site could be compromised if we get into winter conditions. We also believe we may be able to lower our rig move costs by sharing them with other operators who have drilling planned for this area in 2008. ”

White River Dome Project, Colorado

On September 10, 2007 the Company announced that it had acquired all the interests of its partner, Starlight Oil and Gas LLC in the White River Dome Project, giving Eden a 100% working interest in this play.

    New Drilling

The next two wells in the White River Dome Project are the Ant Hill Unit #18-23 and the Ant Hill Unit # 8-12. The AHU #18-23 location is built and a rig is moving to the location. Eden expects to spud this well by the second week of October. Upon completion the rig will immediately move to the AHU #8-12 location. After drilling to total depth of approximately 8000 feet, the wells will be logged and the rig will be released. If justified by well logs, a completion rig will be moved on to fracture stimulate the wells and put them into production. The Company expects to have both these wells drilled and completed by year end.

    Recompletions
Eden currently has two existing wells in the White River Dome Project; the Love Federal 17-21 and the Love Federal 17-42. The Company believes both these wells have additional pay zones which have not been adequately fracture stimulated and flow tested. A recompletion program, targeting poorly treated pay zones and new zones, is planned to start within the next two weeks. These recompletions are expected to be completed before year end.

Chinchaga, Alberta

To date the Company has participated in two wells at Chinchaga. Both of these wells were dry, however the results have allowed us to better calibrate our seismic and we have additional locations to drill. The Company plans to conduct additional seismic operations this winter and if warranted drill one new well at Chinchaga the following winter drilling season. Partner meetings are planned for fall 2007 following which the Company will provide additional guidance on our plans in this area.

General:
Eden Energy Corp. focuses on large scale oil and gas projects with significant resource potential. Its Noah project in eastern Nevada contains exceptionally rich source rocks, large thrusted fault blocks, and an excellent potential reservoir rock. The Chinchaga prospect in Northern Alberta also targets dolomitized Devonian reservoirs and its large resource potential fits well with the Company’s goals. These high potential projects are balanced by the lower risk development project at White River Dome in Colorado.
